Right To Seek Out Direction From The Dead Through A Medium? |

In your heart’s desire to know something beyond your ability to know, one can make the same mistake Saul did in I Samuel 28; choosing to elicit information from someone that consults "spirits," or "demons." Although the devil and his demons are not omniscient as God is, and they do not know ALL things in the future, or even what is in our minds, they do know the past (because it has already happened and they were around); which is how any information you are seeking is made available. Dealing in such things as witchcraft (which is called sin, like rebellion in I Samuel 15:23), "one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead...For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). If you have in the past, please do not consult with a medium anymore, and ask the Lord to forgive you for having had anything to do with her and the demonic spirits that accompany her; then break any ties they may have made with you because of this involvement. The Name of Jesus is "greater than he who is in the world" (I John 4:4). One of the personality traits of the enemy of our souls is the great deceiver. He would have people think he is helping them, assisting them, which draws people in; and it is many times too late once they begin to see this deception, and the darkness and destruction he has planned for their lives. As much as your heart desires to have many questions answered, sometimes we are not to
know; and if you are, just pray and ask the Lord. He loves you and will always do what is
best for you. Do not allow the lies of the enemy to ensnare you. |
