The Will To Give....
People receive much satisfaction in the gifts they make to the Lord's work. However, sometimes they face the dilemma of wanting to help their church and other religious organizations more, but simply do not have the means to do so. Making provision through a will is an excellent way to solve this problem.
Through a legal will, you can designate a specific amount of money or a percent of your estate as c
haritable giving. Consider tithing (giving 10 percent) of your estate to your church. Then, after you have provided for your family, leave the remainder to Jack Hayford Ministries.

If your attorney has already drawn up your will and you have signed it, consider adding a codicil stipulating that a gift be left to Jack Hayford Ministries. ( a codicil is a minor adjustment to your will.) Consider leaving a gift of property to Jack Hayford Ministries in your will. Perhaps your children live in another city or state and really do not need your home, farm, or vacation property. Jack Hayford Ministries could benefit significantly from a gift of property.

You may expect proceeds from your life insurance to be your primary estate. If so, changing the beneficiary now to be our ministry or another charitable organization can be a tax benefit now and avert confusion later.

The purpose of this presentation is to provide general information, not legal or financial counsel.
On any planned gift, consult your own legal or financial advisor.
